Well, I must admit. I’m fascinated by the people who appear to be totally unshakeable in the face of volatility:
- They seem to possess a superhuman sense of calm. One that’s backed by an attitude that’s eternally sunny. Eternally optimistic.
- Indeed, these people are completely in their element when they are immersed in high-risk investing. That’s where they find their greatest sense of purpose.
- Are they daredevils? Adrenaline junkies? Storm chasers?
- Well, yes, maybe. Certainly, the phrase ‘diamond hands’ applies to them. They will hold on to their investment positions with absolute confidence and conviction, no matter how violent the storm gets.
Bitcoin is a good example of this. It has experienced some pretty dramatic downswings and upswings. It’s been nail-biting and heart-racing to watch:
